Potters Wheel Ministries is an inner city ministry in Evansville, Indiana and is
one of the fastest growing ministries in the Tri state area. Potters Wheel
Ministries lies on the borders of Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. Blessed with
generous start up funding donations, willing volunteers and strong leadership,
Potters Wheel Ministries is winning souls for Christ and changing lives among
inner city residents of Evansville, Indiana. Once a haven for drug activity,
prostitution and crime, the inner city of Evansville is going through a major
transformation. This inner city neighborhood of Evansville, Indiana is becoming
a quiet, safe environment for residents, their children and families. The Potters
Wheel Ministries offers many services for low income residents of the inner city
of Evansville, Indiana including a ministry that goes into the neighborhood and
ministers to families and residents with a home visit.

Ministries is 333 Jefferson Avenue, at the corner of Governor Street and
Jefferson. Worship services are held each Sunday afternoon. The first service at
Potters Wheel Ministries was Sunday, April 11, 2004. In the first year of
services we saw hundreds of people accept salvation through Jesus Christ. At one
worship service during the first year, over fifty visitors were saved by
accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. God's presence and love is
evident to our worship service visitors.
Potters Wheel Ministries Soup Kitchen,
The Diner, provides inner city residents of Evansville, Indiana with hot meals twice a week.
The food bank ministry distributes food baskets to families in need of food. The clothing bank
ministry provides free clothing to anyone needing clothes. The Potters Wheel Ministries Outreach
served 230 people at Savannah Gardens Apartments. An evangelical tent service
was held there on Oct.11th through the 13th, 2007. Meals were served followed by
praise and worship music and preaching. In addition to those who accepted Jesus as their Saviour, a
door was opened for ongoing, continued ministry to this area which is plagued by
crime, drug activity, prostitution and violence. Worship Services are Sunday
afternoons at 2:30 pm each week. Pastor Mike Ballard and Reverend Kough lead the
service. The worship team consists of Holy Spirit filled musicians and singers
who lead the worship and praise portion of each service with uplifting music.
Visitors are most welcome and are treated as our special honored guests. Sunday
school classes are available for children of all ages.

and Jefferson. Worship services are held at 2:30 p.m. each Sunday afternoon.
Children’s Sunday school is available. The first service at The Potter's Wheel
was Sunday April 11, 2004. During the first year of worship services several
hundred people heard The Gospel preached, accepted and trusted Jesus Christ as their
Saviour who suffered and died on The Cross for their sins. In 2007, over 3,000
adults heard The Gospel preached.
Between Jan.1,2007 and Oct.31, 2007, The Potters Wheel Ministries soup kitchen
served 22,686 hot meals. The food bank gave out 1,826 food baskets, providing
food for 5,388 people. The clothing bank gave out 33,643 articles of clothing to
several thousand adults and children.
