"Helping Hands...Molding Broken People" Tammy Koch Clothing Bank Coordinator
Mrs. Tammy Koch is the coordinator of The Clothing Bank Ministry at The Potters Wheel Ministries. She attended the University of Southern Indiana and has worked in health care for over twenty four years. Tammy volunteers two to three days per week as the Coordinator of The Clothing Bank Ministry at The Potters Wheel Ministries. The Clothing Bank Ministry at Potters Wheel Ministries has experienced very rapid growth. Tammy's husband is Mike Koch, pastor of hospital visitation at Potters Wheel Ministry. Using his carpentry skills he spent many long hot days donating his time in building the new area for the clothing bank. Drop chutes, stairs, clothing racks and an office had to be built. The Clothing Bank Ministry is now located in the lower level of the Potters Wheel building. The Clothing Bank accepts donations of gently used clothing to sort and distribute to those inner city residents in need. A new area was recently completed to house the Clothing Bank Ministry and it's office. The Clothing Bank Ministry is touching a lot of lives. Inner city residents of Evansville Indiana who receive clothing are always asked if they have any prayer requests. Tammy takes the time to pray with everyone requesting prayer. Potters Wheel Ministries is located at 333 Jefferson Avenue, at the corner of Governor Street and Jefferson. Worship services are held at 2:30 p.m. each Sunday afternoon. Children’s
Sunday school is available. The first service at The Potter's Wheel was
Sunday April 11, 2004. During the first year of worship services hundreds of people heard the gospel preached and accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour who suffered and died on The Cross for their sins.
